James S. Irick is an American football coach in the United States.
==Coaching career==
Irick was the head college football coach for the Baker Wildcats located in Baldwin City, Kansas. He held that position for 13 seasons, from 1963 until 1975.〔
〕 His coaching record at Baker was 50 wins, 63 losses and 4 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #4 at Baker in total wins and #14 at the school in winning percentage ().〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Baker Football All-Time Records )〕 He took over the position from longtime coach Karl Spear who moved up to become the school's Athletic Director.
